Godello

Godello is a white grape from Galicia in northwestern Spain that makes rich, textured wines often likened to white Burgundy for their waxy mouthfeel and balance of fruit and minerality. Once nearly extinct, it has been revived over the last few decades and is now considered one of Spain's most exciting quality whites. It shares its genetic identity with Portugal's Gouveio grape just across the border.
