Côte des Blancs

Appellation

Côte des Blancs is a prestigious stretch of Champagne vineyards south of Épernay planted almost entirely to Chardonnay, which gives the area its name. Wines and blending components from here are prized for their finesse, delicacy, and elegance, especially in blanc de blancs Champagnes and premium vintage cuvées. Six of its villages, including Avize, Cramant, and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, hold grand cru status.
