Colombard

Colombard is a crisp, high-acid French white grape historically prized as the backbone of Cognac and Armagnac brandy production. Today it's more often bottled as an easy-drinking varietal wine in southwest France, California, and South Africa, valued for refreshing guava and citrus flavors.
