Pinot Meunier

Red wine Champagne

Pinot Meunier is one of the three classic grapes of Champagne, alongside Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, prized for ripening reliably even in cool, damp vintages. It's a natural mutation closely related to Pinot Noir, and while it's rarely bottled on its own, standalone versions show a light body, low tannin, and soft, plush red-fruit flavors.

Also known as Meunier, Müllerrebe, Schwarzriesling.
