Jura is a small, cool-climate French region between Burgundy and Switzerland famous for unusual, oxidative styles, above all vin jaune — a golden Savagnin wine aged under a film of yeast for over six years. It also produces fresh Chardonnay whites and light, distinctive reds from Poulsard and Trousseau.
