Rondinella is a light, easy-drinking Italian red grape from Veneto that rarely takes center stage — it's almost always blended with Corvina and Molinara in Valpolicella and Amarone wines. On its own it has fairly neutral flavor, but growers love it for its high yields, disease resistance, and its knack for drying out well without rotting, which is essential to Amarone's grape-raisining process.
