Chasselas

Chasselas is Switzerland's signature white grape, best known bottled as Fendant or Perlan. It's a gentle, subtly flavored grape whose main job is to transmit the character of the vineyard rather than shout its own fruit, which is why Swiss producers treat it as a mirror of local terroir.
