Glera

White wine Prosecco

Glera is the white grape behind Prosecco, grown mainly around Conegliano and Valdobbiadene in Italy's Veneto region. It's a fairly neutral variety on its own, but shines when made into light, fruity sparkling wine with delicate green apple and blossom aromas.

Also known as Ghera, Glere, Prosecco, Serpina.
