Tribidrag

Red wine

Tribidrag is the ancient Croatian name for the black-skinned grape that DNA testing proved is genetically identical to Zinfandel (California) and Primitivo (Italy) — three names for the same vine, separated by centuries of migration. Wines are robust and full-bodied, ripening to high sugar levels that push alcohol past 15%, with fruit character ranging from bright raspberry in cooler sites to jammy blackberry, anise, and black pepper in warmer ones.
